London offers so many good places for brunch and selecting my favourite ones was no easy task.
Electric Diner, I have to admit that my favourite way to spend a Sunday is walking around Notting Hill and stopping by the Electric Diner for some of their famous Eggs Royal and an oat milk matcha latte. A fun fact about this spot, it’s actually part of the famous “Electric Cinema”! For those of you who haven’t heard of this place, it is the coolest, most luxurious, vintage cinema you will ever come across. Brunch + movies on a Sunday doesn’t sound that bad am I right?
Being an early bird will definitely help you avoid queuing! Alternatively though you can walk by to give your name and number at the front desk! They will text you back as soon as a table is available and it usually isn’t more than 30 min wait. This option gives you some time to walk around the area before brunch and take pictures of the colourful houses in the neighborhood! A definite must try from the menu is their Cornflake French toast with caramelised banana, blueberries, brown butter and maple syrup ! (to die for)
Abuelo, this aussie inspired cafe is located in the heart of Covent Garden. One of my favourite choices for a lunch break as my uni is 5 mins walk from it, and the cake display is an absolute work of art!
The dishes usually change depending on the season but I can guarantee every choice will be super colourful and delicious.
The Dayrooms, this small cafe is located in Notting Hill and is ideal for a Sunday break after a stroll down the famous Portobello Market.
It offers a lot of healthy and original options!
The Locals Cafe, located in Chelsea, one of the best areas where I love to stroll, the café offers a healthy european cuisine using only the best seasonal products.
I tried the gluten free berry pancakes, the acai bowl is one of the best I’ve tried in London and (of course) Avocado Toast.
Perfect also for a coffee break if you are in the neighbourhood.
Avobar, inspired by Californian style plates it offers, as you can guess by the name, an ‘avocentric menu’.
My suggestion is definitely to try the Avo Bun Burger, this is a burger made with an entire avocado instead of bread.
