This city has my heart, literally. It could be because my first flight was to Paris, because I come here every year since I was five, or because it’s the city of love… I don’t know exactly why… but whenever I’m here I only want to stop time to enjoy every little corner of this magical city, definitely my favorite in the world.
What to see and do:
If I had to write all my favorite place in Paris, I could put every single street…
Place des voges, located dans le Marais, it’s perfect for a sunday stroll or a romantic walk at sunset, when the lanterns start shining.
Le Marais, vintage shops are everywhere, loved the kilo shop, where you can buy everything you want by paying for kilos.
The view from Notre Dame de Paris in sweet company of the Gargoyles. Probably my favorite spot to see the Seine and the beautiful parisian buildings.
Of course the Eiffel tower couldn’t be missed. If you want to avoid the touristic views from Trocadero or Champs de mars just walk around the district you will play peek-a-boo with my favourite french lady.
Wait until the Eiffel Tower starts to spark, so you can know why Paris is called la Ville Lumiere, and every hour it starts shining, it’s pure magic…
Montmartre, an immersion in & between little streets and artists are everywhere you look. If you are tired of walking, since this suburbs is on a hill, you can enjoy a coffee at “La Maison Rose”.
Musee d’Orsay, is my favourite museum, located in an old station that takes you directly to the period of ‘la Belle Epoque’, there are so many famous paintings about the impressionist and much more.
Rue Crémieux, or as I prefer to call it, the French Notting Hill, it is the perfect place to explore when it’s gloomy in order to color your day with some pretty colorful houses.
Republique, full of cafes and bar. You will be able to find here one for every type of needs.
Saint Germain des Pres, top location for dinner spots or to enjoy a cocktail sitting next to the parisians.
Where to eat:
Pique Nique at Champ de Mars, probably my favorite way to say goodbye to la “Ville Lumiere” while staying at feet of the Tour Eiffel.
Angelina Paris, go here for the Mont Blanc, a fluffy meringue with cream covered topped with a creme of marron glacees.
L’Oiseau Blanc at the Peninsula Paris, to have the most magical dinner you could ever have in Paris with a breathtaking views of the city.
Ob-la-Di, the cutest french cafè, if you are an avocado toast lover this place is not going to disappoint you
Season, go here for the best acai bowl in town.
Cafe Kitsuné, a little cafè, by maison Kitsuné located in the gardens of Palais Royal. Try the fox cookies, unless you feel bad ruining beautiful cookies
Boot Cafè, a very tiny bar where you can have a good coffee. You will recognize it from the blue door and the big sign ‘cordonnerie’ on the top.
La Cafeotheque, a variety of coffee from all over the world to choose from, and obviously latte art on every cup.
Holybelly, absolutely order the pancakes with season fruit, probably the finest I’ve ever eaten.
